RULES AND DEFINITIONS FOR THIS EVENT
1. Unless stated otherwise ribbons will be awarded 1st to 4th
2. Horses are eligible for EITHER Hunter or Hack classes NOT BOTH
3. Ponies competing in the Open Pony Ring may be ridden by an adult with the exception of the Childs classes
4. Jackets are optional
5. Maiden – Not to have won at first prize at any show (to be ridden in a snaffle bit)
6. Novice – Not to have won an Open Championship at any show
7. Winners of eligible classes may contest for Champion, if a horse placed second to the eventual champion winner, you may contest for reserve champion.
8. Multiple Horses per rider is allowed, but please note rings will not be held.
9. All competitors and persons in charge or exhibits must obey stewards directions at all times
10. This show is run under all standard EA Show Horse rules – All gear and equipment must comply with EA standards

11. If you are not an EQ or RASDEG Member RASDEG Day membership of $20.00 is payable
12. No Dogs allowed on the grounds
13. The Judge’s decision is final. Objections should be made in writing with a fee of $100 to the organising committee within 20mins of the event. The deposit will be forfeited unless the protest is up held
14. No Stallions or Colts
15. EA standard helmets should be worn at all times
16. Horses are to be worked in the warm up area provided only and only walked between rings 17. Changes to the program, classes and rings may be made the discretion of the organising
committee

RASDEG Events

RASDEG offer events which include, Members, EA Competitive; Participant; Interschool and Para Equestrian.

A RASDEG member can ride any level of dressage test at a members day that has been offered on the Entry Form, and need not be a member of any other club, from Preparatory to Grand Prix level.

RASDEG Members days now also invite EA Participant members and are included in the same classes.

Separate ribbons are offered to EA Participant member riders.

What is an EA Participant member

Equestrian Australia offer several levels of membership for individuals including Competitive and Participant.

An EA Participant member may compete at the following levels at RASDEG Club events, and their horse is not required to be EA registered.

  • Novice
  • Prelim
  • Prep
  • EA National Para-Dressage

An EA Competitive member must ride an EA registered horse with a valid bridle number and be a current financial member of Equestrian Queensland for RASDEG events.  An EA member can ride in Participant classes, but a Participant cannot ride in Official classes.
